Kay Hardy Campbell













 

Kay is a Maine-based writer with a specialty in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia. She also lectures on Middle East-related subjects, studies and performs Arabic music, and is a director of the annual Arabic Music Retreat at Mount Holyoke College. A former banker with experience in national and international syndicated finance, Kay brings to her projects her skills as a business analyst, business manager, her knowledge of cash flow and her international perspective. She is available to make presentations to schools., book groups, libraries, and community groups on the Middle East, Women in the Gulf and Saudi Arabia, as well as the traditional music and folk dances of the region

Kay's new novel, The Sons of Fez: A Moroccan Time Travel Adventure, is set in the medina (old city) of Fez. It was a finalist in the 2022 Maine Literary Awards in the category of Speculative Fiction.
